About us
We – that is Céline and Stef – soon shared a dream to be able to move to a place that would give us a permanent holiday feeling. In 2022 we decided to start looking for a peaceful, natural surrounding.
In our search we stumbled upon a charming estate from 1865 with a lot of spacious fields. When we first visited the place it was love at first sight and two weeks later we were able to call it our future home. Céline had always dreamed of turning her passion, i.e. her horses, into her profession. She already was an instructor when living in Antwerp. Alongside it is now her goal to bring together horse and man and to bring about a better world for the horses.
Our common goal is to let other people share in the nature and the peace that we experience daily. This is what we want to achieve by welcoming you in Habitat.
Facilities
Plantbased breakfast
The breakfast is completely plantbased. Since animals and nature are central here, it is a logical step for us to extend this concept to the kitchen.
Big garden
A large terrace, lush flowers, sweet goats and beautiful horses can all be found on our 4.6 hectare land.
Outdoor swimming pool
The swimming pool is open from May to September. Here you can cool off and enjoy the beautiful view of the garden.
Free Wifi
All our guests can make unlimited use of the WiFi.
Honesty bar
In our honesty bar you will only find Belgian, plantbased and ecological soft drinks, beers and fruit juice.
Free parking
During your stay you can park for free in our driveway.
Pets not allowed
We love your pets, but we cannot allow them on our property because of our own dogs.
Durable
The b&b runs on 100% solar energy. We also use ecological and zero-waste alternatives in the kitchen and rooms as much as possible.

The Aquascope is an ecotourism center located on the nature reserve of the Virelles pond.
